Prepration Plan


SSC CGL Tier-1 2016 exam notification is out now. If you really want to score good marks in this exam, you must follow a proper plan for that.

As you can see, the competition is growing day by day, with such large number, that you can not ignore. But don't fear with high competition guys, we are here to help you to crack SSC CGL 2015.

So, these are the few points that you need to keep in mind which will help you to crack exam easily and score more.

  • Start your study practice at least 3 months before the ssc cgl exam. 
  • make a time table of your study and follow it regularly. 
  • Divide the syllabus according to time table. Don't forget to put the regular revision time in between.
  • Practice all the sections fully. Don't leave any section thinking it easy. 
  • Make a time management of your question paper. Decide how much time you are going to give to each question and each section.
Make a timetable of how much time you should give to which section. Learn How to do Time Management for SSC exams.
Example:
15 min. for general knowledge
20 min. for English
35 min. for Reasoning
Remaining for Quantitative aptitude 
remember 8-20 minutes will be taken by the boxes you fill depending on your speed.

  • Make a time map of which section you are going to solve 1st then 2nd 3rd 4th according to their time table. 
  • Focusing on Important topics of SSC CGL Syllabus. 
  • Daily solve a previous year paper or a model test paper and try to do all 200 questions correctly within 2 hrs.  


SUBJECT WISE APPROACH

Mathematics or Quantitative Aptitude 

Learn all the basic formulas, learn conceptual clarity and try to solve maximum questions of each topic.

Try to learn short cut of each topic, otherwise you will not able to solve all question during your examination quickly. Always jot down the short cuts so you will not forget them.

Please give at least one to two hours daily to mathematics.

GENERAL STUDIES / GK SECTION
First see the topics of General Studies in SSC notification, and divide it into three chapters “S+S+C”= Static + Science + Crap and must study something in GS on daily basis.

80% of the GS section comes from Static and Science Portion so try to strong this part. Static means 
Polity, Indian History & Culture, Geography and Economy.

Crap portion means Person in news, Awards, Sports, Books, Current Affairs, Government institution, govt schemes, important dates and miscellaneous GK.

Please give at least one to two hours daily to General Studies.

Current affairs can be cover by daily newspaper reading

Evaluate your performance by solving mock practice paper.

  • SSC always repeats the questions, around 50% questions are taken from previous papers of CGL, CHSL, MTS & others ssc exams, CDS, NDS, etc. Please go though all previous year papers.
  • In GS Section do not try to attempt (Tukka) the question, whose answer you didn’t know due to Negative marking.
  • 1st read & understand the NCERT books of each subject than brush up your knowledge with Lucent General Knowledge.
